Downloaded and ran the "media creation tool" mentioned earlier in this thread. This one felt like huge waste of time as it didn't work and the update still failed. Ran the setupdiag. This generated a logs. In one of the XML files in the logs.
These mentioned two oem. I uninstalled both of these from my system. Again maybe some of the previous steps did something but clearly the install failed until these 2 items were removed. Still doesn't work unfortunately. I'm seeing two things that I believe might be important. Error: SetupDiag reports rollback failure found.

On the other hand, you could also click Download tool now button to download media creation tool, which can download Windows 10 version 21H1 ISO file for us, once ISO download complete, mount it and run Setup.
